The Smartec infrared sensor SMT IR2102 is a sophisticated full silicon infrared sensor with built in temperature sensor (Ni). This sensor can be used for measuring non contact radiation temperature. The sensor is fitted with a 5.5 µm high pass filter. For different radiation temperature ranges other filters are available. These sensors output a small analogue voltage. An amplifier and interface is required before the voltage can be digitised and referenced to the temperature.
* High accuracy and sensitivity (7mV@100 C)
* High pass IR filter (>5.5µm)
* Fast 12mS response
* Field of view 88 deg.
* Resistance of thermopile 70k Ohm @ 25 C.
* NTC 100 k Ohm
* Analogue output
* Applications: Climate control, Medical like Ear thermometer, Thermal Alarm, Temp control of moving objects
